1980 to present day
Tradition, quality and modern technological developments are combined to make the Rolls Royce of the paint world From 1980, the Oudt Hollandse gains a new lease of life, under the inspired leadership of Theo de Beer and master paintmaker Wim van der Zwan, who learned the craft from the Roelofs family and who represents the continuity and quality of our paints with over 40 years’ experience. The products are continually being tested in practice, in close consultation with groups of international artists, under the leadership of visual artist Paul Balk. Edward de Beer, son of Theo de Beer, starts working at the company from 1996 on, and in 2000 takes over the company. He professionalised the company and enabled Oudt Hollandse to achieve its current international reputation as:
